A revista Rolling Stone divulgou uma lista com os 50 melhores álbuns femininos de todos os tempos.
Apesar de Madonna, Lady Gaga e Adele aparecerem na lista elas não conseguiram desbancar o album da Rainha do Soul Aretha Franklin com “I Never Loved A Man The Way I Love You” de 1967, mas em outra lista feita em 2003 com os 500 melhores álbuns de todos os tempos, o álbum da rainha do Soul aparece somente na 83º posição.
